Disaster Resilience Management of Civil Infrastructure Systems based on Reliability, Redundancy, and Recoverability
Junho Song is currently Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU). He has research interests in structural/system/network reliability, reliability-based optimization, disaster resilience, earthquake engineering, random vibrations, and machine learning for infrastructure systems. He received his B.S. and M.S. from SNU, and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley. His technological innovations in the area of System Reliability and Optimization were recognized by awards including the IASSAR Research Prize. Prof. Song has been serving the community as a board member of five international journals, the President of CERRA (2019-present), and the Chairman of the IFIP Working Group 7.5 (2016-present).
