The below leisure tours specifically organised for ICASP14 will take place on Thursday, July 13th and are available to book for you and/or any accommpanying persons at time of registration or if you have already registered but would like to add a tour now, please email the conference secretariat and they will be happy to add this for you.
Please note there are conference sessions scheduled on Thursday as well.
- Cultural Walking Tour
Learn more about Dublin's history and culture and visit both Christ Church and St. Patrick’s Cathedral (admission fees included).
Approx. 2.5h, morning from 10.00am to 12.30pm and afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.30pm, € 36.00 pp - Georgian Dublin Walking Tour
The term Georgian Dublin carries political as well as historical weight and also refers to an architectural style. Explore the grand townhouses and historic buildings that housed Ireland's high society during the 18th century.
Approx. 2.5h, from 2.30pm to 5.00pm, € 21.00 pp - Musical Pub Crawl
Spend a pub evening accompanied by traditional Irish musicians. Learn the history of Irish music and its influence on contemporary music around the world. Drinks are each individual's responsibility.
Approx. 1.5h, from 5.30pm to 7.00pm, € 30.00 pp - Howth & Malahide Day Trip
First explore Malahide Castle Gardens with its butterfly house. After lunch, you will also get to take a walk along the beautiful Howth Peninsula and enjoy some time at the harbour. 2-Course Lunch in Howth or Malahide with drinks allowance and admission fees included.

Explore the garden county of Ireland and visit Glendalough Monastic Site, Powerscourt Waterfall and Powerscourt Gardens. 2-Course Lunch with drinks allowance and admission fees included.
